Mychal received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2011 from Utica College in upstate New York. She practiced in the Bay Area for 3.5 years before moving to beautiful Bend, Oregon 11 years ago.
Mychal specializes in functional movements and identifying compensatory patterns to get to the root of the issue. She is certified in FMS, DNS, KT, Gait Happens, and MFR and has just completed her 300 hour yoga teacher training. These and many other courses allow her to look at the body as a whole.
She enjoys working with a wide range of clients from children to seniors, and treats all orthopedic, neurological, and musculoskeletal injuries. Mychal employs active treatment approaches and provides her patients with tools and knowledge to help them manage their own health.
Mychal believes no two individuals are the same; treatment should be tailored to each individual and their specific needs and goals.
When not working, Mychal enjoys being active, whether it’s snowboarding, yoga, golf, or curling. She also likes to spend quality time with her spunky pup Ace.
